movie poster is considered a true classic amongst collectors. Not just because it is one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best films but primarily for the design and artwork by Saul Bass
who to many has produced the perfect poster. Comprising a mysterious central image and stark background color, with a minimum of distracting text. However perfection doesn’t come cheap, I sold my last Vertigo
movie poster to a private collector for in excess of £ 3,000. It is becoming increasingly scarce to acquire with premiums being asked for examples that grade very fine plus or are unrestored.
